Among my favourite places to visit are York with its medieval streets and Leeds with its industrial past and urban flair. I am particularly interested in social and medical history also the literary giants of the region.  But I can tailor my tours to your own passions. Many people like to visit the stately homes of the area and the abbeys which contributed so much to the fabric of society. Popular destinations include Harewood House which was painted by Turner and Castle Howard where Brideshead Revisited was filmed. But maybe Harry Potter is more your thing in which case come with me to Goathland to see if we can glimpse the Hogwarts Express!
