Drayton Manor Theme Park, near Tamworth in Staffordshire, is gearing up to welcome families for a February half tem filled with fun.
From Friday 15th February to Sunday 24th February, a number of Drayton Manor’s most popular attractions will be open, including Thomas Land™, the 15-acre zoo, Ben 10: Ultimate Mission roller coaster and the 4D Cinema, which will be showing The Little Prince.
Thomas Land is home to many rides and attractions based on loveable Thomas & Friends™ characters, including Cranky the Crane and Harold the Helicopter. There’s also a Thomas the Tank Engine train ride, indoor and outdoor play areas, a café and shop.
The Ben 10: Ultimate Mission rollercoaster*, based on the popular Ben 10 TV series, produced by Cartoon Network, launches riders forwards on their first tour of the 180m track, hitting speeds of 55kph and a g-force of 3, before returning travelling backwards along the same route.
Meanwhile, Drayton Manor Zoo has more than 100 animal species from around the world, including big cats, monkeys and primates, as well as penguins and various reptiles.
Also open will be the Carousel, as well as the Grill Inn restaurant which is open all year round.
