Gifted to the Society in 1903, Wisley has evolved over time into a world-class garden of 260 acres (approx ha 105).

In the trials fields, the finest flowers and vegetables are identified from the countless new introductions. Elsewhere in the garden, cultivation techniques are tried and tested, and a series of model gardens answers the needs of a variety of conditions and circumstances. Explore a world of plants  in the majestic beauty of the Glasshouse, from cacti to tropical palms. Bursting with seasonal colours and scents, Wisley is the perfect place to relax and unwind with family and friends

Wisley welcomes groups of 10 and over adults at a discounted rate if booked and paid for 14 days
in advance (£9.75 per person Feb 2013). Facilities within the Garden include three cafes and a restaurant as well as WCs located throughout the Garden. Wheelchairs are available for less able visitors and a mobility vehicle is operating taking less able visitors to key points through the Garden. Free maps may be collected at the entrance and it is possible to pre-book tours with  a steward at an extra £3 per person. The organiser and coach driver receive free entry and the coach driver, a refreshment voucher.
