Highlights include Robert Adam’s Neo-classical Saloon, exquisite plasterwork ceilings, original Chinese wall coverings and ceramics and an exceptional collection of paintings including several by Sir Joshua Reynolds and Angelica Kauffman. The garden is predominantly 19th century and contains an 18th century Orangery and follies, as well as beautiful shrubberies and imposing specimen trees offering year- round interest and delight. It also contains a local arts and crafts gallery.

Family, costumed and seasonal events occur regularly to make anextra special day out. The cafe sells meals and snacks and the shop sells plants and gifts.
