Swansea Bay is Great for Groups! Swansea Bay is a great central location for exploring the best of South Wales; Swansea City Centre is easy to get around with all major attractions within walking distance of each other – such as the National Waterfront Museum, Wales’ newest museum and Swansea Museum, the oldest!  Swansea’s famous poet and writer Dylan Thomas is celebrated in a unique ‘Man and Myth’ Exhibition at the Dylan Thomas Centre and for literary lovers you can also visit his birthplace, lovingly recreated as a snapshot into the past. Plantasia’s hothouse is a warm and tropical haven in the City Centre and the City’s gardens at Clyne and Singleton Botanics are a haven of colour from May to September.

The cosy, but cosmopolitan village of Mumbles is just the place for boutique shopping, with art and craft galleries, Victorian Pier and medieval castle – it’s also famous for its cafes and restaurants serving the best in local produce and it’s selection of Welsh Italian ice-cream parlours!

The Gower Peninsula’s designation as the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is well deserved with a breathtaking combination of captivating coastline and countryside, don’t miss Three Cliffs Bay or the iconic views across Rhossili Bay and the promontory of Worm’s Head.
