The tour

On arrival, groups will go through theVisitor Centre in Ocean Terminal before stepping on board. Here they can learn about the history of the Royal Yachts, and view displays and historical photographs of Britannia’s fascinating past.

The captivating audio handset tour covers five main decks.  It starts at the Bridge, explores the State Apartments and Crew’s Quarters, and finishes at the Engine Room. From here you can also visit the Royal Sailing Exhibition and view the former ocean racing yacht Bloodhound. (Please note that Bloodhound is not on display in July and August, she is based in Oban and available for private charter during this period.)

The majority of items on view are the originals, kindly on loan from the Royal Collection and other contributors.
