Housed in the principal rooms of the grade 1 Palladian mansion, The Tabley House Collection contains much to delight the descerning visitor. Enjoy some of the finest British paintings from Turner, Lawrence and others seen in the rooms they were painted for. Admire the craftsmanship of cabinet makers such as Chippendale and Gillow. Enjoy some of the best Georgian interiors and find out about the Leicesters’ fascinating family history.
Afterwards visit the 17th century chapel with Burne-Jones window and take a break in the tea room which houses a grand fireplace from Tabley Old Hall.
