At Lichfield Cathedral you can discover over 1300 years of history in the only medieval three-spired Cathedral in the UK. The Cathedral has a number of tours available for visitors from twice-daily free ‘Highlights’ tours (11:00 & 14:00) to bookable tours for groups and individuals.
The ‘Discover the Cathedral’ tour take visitors on a journey through 1300 years of history, stories of the Cathedral and its architectural features.
‘Hidden Heights’ tours are also available, taking visitors into parts of the Cathedral not open to the general public, finishing with a stunning view from the rooftop overlooking Lichfield and the surrounding countryside.
We also offer tours of our historic library, which houses a magnificent collection of early printed books and hand-copied manuscripts.
