Founded by Charles Wicksteed, the inventor of the children’s playground, Wicksteed Park in Northamptonshire provides a fantastic mix of thrills and enjoyment in a stunning setting.

The park boasts some of the oldest thrill rides in the UK, including the water chute, which first opened in 1926 – and the Wicksteed Park railway, which takes visitors around the park, is the most popular narrow-gauge railway in the country.

Wicksteed also offers a range of great family-orientated places to eat, ranging from fast food choices through to three and four course meals. The Park View bistro provides picturesque views over the park and its superb lake.

The venue now has dedicated coach parking for up to 30 coaches, with overflow parking available. Coach drivers are provided with complimentary lunch, tea and coffee.

A welcome host is also provided on request, to direct passengers into the Pavilion show venue.
