Batsford is open from 9.30am-5.00pm Monday-Saturday & 10.00am-5.00pm on Sundays.

Last entry into the arboretum is 4.00pm daily.

Batsford Arboretum in the Cotswolds

Batsford Arboretum is home to a unique collection of some of the world’s most beautiful and rare trees, shrubs and bamboos spread across 60 acres.

Enjoy early colour from the snowdrops, followed by spring-flowering bulbs and spectacular Japanese flowering cherries; escape the heat under the tree canopy in summer and prepare to be amazed by the outstanding autumn colour!

The arboretum is currently looking glorious with late-flowering Magnolias and our stunning Japanese flowering cherries!

If visiting the arboretum inspires you, come and browse Batsford Garden Centre, a haven for garden and plant lovers! Enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or coffee at The Garden Terrace Café and catch some retail therapy at the Arboretum Gift Shop.

The Visitor Centre – where you’ll find the Café, Garden Centre and Gift Shop – is completely free to enter. The only part of Batsford you have to pay to go into is the arboretum.

Batsford is a great day out for all the family – including the dog!
